  1. Onion Cottage Hello my Friends, It’s been a while but I got a few places of interest to put up over the coming weeks. I got a call from my friend “Shot in the Dark†who had found this site and invited me along, so glad he did Not a lot of history about this place but it was well worth the journey. It was essentially two cottages joined together and it seems that two brothers lived there until one died and then eventually the other followed. Both cottages had many interesting items to photograph and seemed like a real blast from the past. There was still a wedding dress in the second cottage we visited. Sadly my friends did a revisit not so long ago and I have now heard that most of the items have now been burnt out in the back garden. It appears that it will be the owners and not vandals as the site has been part demolished and looks like it will either be redeveloped or the land used for a modern dwelling. Hope you enjoy Yes, I am guilty of moving items for a better image Not this one though Thanks for looking
