Germany The Funeral Carriage

Recommended Posts

The team behind the Lost Place Tapes is looking for a rare vehicle hidden in a place where no one suspects it to be. What we find is breathtaking, morbid, frightening and depressing at the same time ...

As always, English subtitles are available for the episode!!!

@Superully Thanks for posting your video. It would be nice to see a collection of your still photos in a report as i enjoyed the snapshot sections of the video. I understand youtube stuff it 'cool' at the moment but I think your stills of the place would make a really nice account of the location if you have the time to post them :thumb

This place has been on the radar for a while now but never got the chance to properly take a look. The dome itself can be seen for quite a few miles across the surrounding areas. Not a great deal of information available other than it looks like some sort of water treatment site/reservoir possibly used by the MOD, given the land its situated on. It doesn't appear to be fully derelict either as you can still here the sound of running water and the grass seems to be trimmed.

The explore went as planned, few dog walkers here and there, other than that spent a little while looking around.

So now is the time you start seeing this type of thread pop up. Favourite cereals, dog walking moments, cheesey tunes etc...

Favourite derp should have its place

For me, this is pretty easy. After a while out of exploring I finally got my feet the taste of mould and pigeon shit they had so desperately been craving. I got out once, nothing crazy, but it was out.

This abandoned porcellain manufactur was founded at the end of the 19th century. It produced until 1974 when it went bankrupt and finally folded.

I visited the chocolate factory already more than four years ago. Inside it was partly very dark - much darker than it looks in the photos. The plaster had fallen from the ceiling; a gray damp mud lay on the floor and stuck stubbornly to the shoes.
After the owner died, the factory was closed over 20 years ago. The widow of the manufacturer still lives in a dilapidated house next to the factory. In the past years, the condition has worsened a lot. Meanwhile, the roof of the former factory has almost completely collapsed.

A former ballhaus somewhere in the eastern of Germany. At the moment they are renovating the building and for a small amount of money you can get acces for taking photographs.
