Prison Pieter, Scotland - Nov 2014

Recommended Posts

A rainy Sunday afternoon, out for a drive and decided a chance my luck on visiting a prison I had known about for a good while, but knew it had on site security. Fuck it I thought, chance my luck and drive up to the gate, called the number and Mr Secca Man was happy to give me the keys and wander around this lovely little prison for a couple hours. Signing myself into the log book, I asked him if anyone had been in before me, naw he said, your the first! I think he was happy for the company and chat, must be quite a boring job!

Not much decay for my tastes, but since it is due for demolition soon, it could be my last chance.

What a cracker of a place with the combination of the quite grand admin and then the lock up itself.

Lets hope they have plans for the admin block.

Great shots and share there.:thumb

Good on ya secca :P

Just a crappy stripped out church, but something about it would tickle the nipples of a god fearing nun.

But I liked it enough to take a few pictures anyway.

Hello, another from my long long long list of shitty cottages I have to post up on here tp convert you to the deeply weird realm of cottaging!

Found this almost my accident whilst exploring with a couple friends, after walking what felt like miles through small forests, over streams, up and down heather marsh lands and over several feilds to visit some of the shittest derps you could probably imagine, I spotted this on the way down the wild hills.  We took a chance as it was on a live farm, found the door open and decided to pop in for 30 mins and grabbed some pics.  We all felt a bit uneasy as it was a live farm and decided to get out quickly, just as we were closing the door a car came down the drive way, and we bolted like a mini heard of highland cows stampeding our way down the side of the house and over a few fences to safety.  Never been back, but one day I will!

Been a little while since I posted anything.

Derp Cottage, located in what some consider Miserable Scotland, visited on a windy and cold day, but it had rather nice views.

ok, been a while since I posted from this trip.
Day 3, after a very messy night involving several bottles of "baron" red wine, our motley crew awoke.
Where were we going ?? The night before had been frantic messages home and abroad trying to figure out if the place was still open.......... yes/no/yes/no, then we decided Foret, but then we decided prison........ the last message I had stated it was open, so we got in the car and set off.
After at least 3 wrong turns on the motorways we finally got heading in the right direction !!
We met up with 2 explorers from Holland, Mornix and Mallory, good friends and really good to see them again. (Mallorys Apricot pie was amazing !! and who says prison food is rubbish )
Long story short......... we got in........ took some pics......... go out........ no dramas no gypsies but we heard a few guns being fired in the prison next next door.

      cheers
      The Baron
