Villa Zombo (august 2015)

Recommended Posts

The third location of the day on a very hot day in Italy.

It was a very nice place to explore. Beside the nice hallway and the beautifull bedroom there was not much to see.

Villa Spar is a modern architecture abandoned villa. Contemporary design and minimalist elements found here.

Mix of wood, glass, stone and marble in a rather empty spot with an amazing swimming pool and an imposing living room !

The pictures are taken from two different visits, in the same year. One of my favorite places ever !! For now, the place is destructed.

Villa Margherita is an abandoned residential building, which appeared from some of the modern decor to have been used as an office type building before becoming abandoned quite recently judging by the lack of decay… Visited with Andy de Kay, Matt and Spider Monkey, it was the last spot of the day and light was fading rather quickly. The main entrance hall with its mosaic tiled floor and impressive curved staircase and detailed ironwork balustrade which makes up the entirety of this report was pretty much the only notable feature with the rest of the building being quite bland. Still worth stopping off to see this.

I didn't know if the property was still accessible. For this reason, I checked it the night before. The next day I visited the historic mansion in the early morning.
I was very tired, but I was rewarded with some nice wall and ceiling paintings.
