Lovely view :) !

I've heard that cranes auto-position themselves to counter the wind, so that might explain it.

What lens did you pick up, if you don't mind me asking?

Banging mate, sorry somehow missed this first time around. About the swivel thing, do some of these cranes automatically turn into the wind or something?

When a crane is offline, the brakes on the "turn table" are switched off. This means it can swivel to the direction the wind is blowing. This stops it being damaged and basically stops it falling over. Although they look pretty small the wind can easily push them over. :)
