Hi everyone 👋 so I came across this old small pig farm last year I visited and it was dark and rainy so I decided to go back earlier this month and have a better look.
History: The farm named "Oaklegh Lodge" was built by the owners themselves Mr & Mrs Madden, he was retired and had a passion for painting, they had 2 children. Sadly the night before Mr Maddens Art exhibition which he set up in 1 of the barns for buyers to come along and see his artwork there was a fire at the house, he struggled to get his wife out of bed ( she had severe arthritis & had 3 hip operations) and by the time she got to hospital she passed away. Mr Madden survived and lived until around 2016, there is a large cross on the land outside the house front door which resembles a grave? I'm not sure about this maybe a remembrance for his late wife.. Many belongings left but unfortunately idiot's have trashed the place... hope you enjoy the pictures I got.
