Blue Christ Church -- November 2014

More like Bird Poop Church, because goddamn, the crap's everywhere. Both literally.

Planned to go there tomorrow, because of a friend who didn't have time. But they reported sun today and rain tomorrow, so tough luck :upu3: (But we'll pass by it tomorrow again, anyway.) A bunch of pigeons were flying about and perching here and there on Blue Jesus. My shutter button must sound like the Horns of Jericho, tho, because these asshole birds scrammed everytime I wanted to push it.

What I'm wondering tho is what the point of the construction boxes in front of the church is. They've been on the rather old Streetview imagery and are still there now.

As said in the OP, I went there again the day after with said friend. First time I didn't check the bell tower, assuming tons of pigeons there that I rather don't want to spook within an enclosed room. Checked it the second time, turns out it's been repurposed as a cellphone tower. Which is surprising, considering the place ain't locked down.
