Last location of the Summer Euro Tour and it was this lovely derp mansion.

On my haste to get in and get it down i almost broke my ankle jumping in a window (yes the door was open the other side!) so I hobbled around this site did a couple shots, missed the main room and headed back to the car, when I notice another building lurking away in the trees, so off I head in there. Unaware to me the rest of the group got busted by the military police and thrown off site, except for me haha!

Leaving the site, I spot the military guards abd I hobble away quietly as I could behind them to return to the cars finding everyone was calling me trying to find out where I was, well I was derping as always

Haha I like this and a good story to go with it What was the deal with the military police? Sounds a bit heavy handed to me....

You were lucky. I was there in the winter of 2009. Also military troops at the castle. But they only went around and did not come into it. So I was not seen and caught, too.

Did the military police the others only throw out or were there any consequences / punishment?

I was really on edge when I visited here back in March last year as I'd heard stories of the military still using the grounds for training, we got in and out without being caught or seen but every little noise had me pricking my ears up, never relaxed, took a few shots (and lost my lens cap in the process) and left...not the nicest of atmospheres I've ever been in!

Also, thanks for the info about the MPs there. One of my pals accompanying me is a relative loudmouth in regards getting caught. Won't be bringing him to that place.
