The parish church probably dates back to the chapel of a nearby castle, which was already documented in the late 11th century. In the 15th century the church was rebuilt, last renovations were made around 1960. Due to static problems it was finally closed and decayed rapidly. A few years ago inside the golden plastic coffin was still a saint doll, but meanwhile it has been stolen.
