Evening all. So another break from my alphabetical catch up of a few years shoots editing and posting up to bring you one of last weekends explores Farm N.
The History
The farm is situated, along with several others, on a large estate in Derbyshire. It is believed to have been built around 1875. The farm's
main income was earned from the sale of milk, with further revenue coming from sheep, pigs and poultry.
The Visit
It was a bright and sunny morning when I parked up awaiting the arrival of my fellow considerate trespassers.
As oft it was the trio of the one sometimes referred to as Zero81, the hunter of Fraggles and myself venturing
where many wouldn't bother. "Is this definitely the right place?" , Mr. Hunter enquired. I couldn't be 100%
but assured him my confidence was quite high.
We trudged across a couple of rather muddy fields before arriving out our goal.
On departing, we were greeted, on the path back, by a herd of big black things with four legs
eyeing us up and going "Moo"
Liking residential explores I rather liked this place, a few interesting bits to see, a farmhouse that
I imagined was rather homely in it's day.
