Hedge Hostel, Scotland - Dec 2012

Visited here after a long day out with Lost sploring it was our final stop of the day, needless to say it wasn't my sploring buudy's favourite as he stumbled around waiting for me to hurry up and finish :lol:

Not much info on this 4 storey B-listed mansion house built in 1821 for Local Bishop. During its life It was converted into a hostel for female pupils attending the near-by Royal Academy. It is now boarded up and awaiting conversion into flats by a local contractor

Social Room

Complete with a Bar

Front Room contained this weirdly ornate fireplace!

Fairly bland staircase

Very mouldy computer room

Loads of writing on the walls in the basement!

What a cracking building to be a hostel. That fireplace is the dogs!

The house is defo trashed and bashed but youve grabbed the good features that remain and theres some nice ornate bits.

I couldnt help but smile thinking of Lost kickin his heels wanting to get on to the nexts splore.

We've all been there, horses for courses at the end of the day and makes for a good mix. :beer:

haha you had been in before, I did really enjoy that sea tanks, that was a winner, haven't seen any of your pics from there yet!
