Hulme Hall Grammar School

Hulme Hall School was established in 1928, with a pre-school, junior learning centre and senior school on site. It has an average of 50 new pupils per year and specialises in grammar but teaches the typical modern day subjects. This property was built in the 1950s and abandoned in 2017 when the school relocated to the old Hillcrest Grammar site, originally Stockport's High School for Girls. The school's motoo is 'Seek Truth.'
Following seeing this school online, and with a surprise free Saturday, I tracked it down and we headed there and various other leads in late October. Recent feature-length walkthroughs had finally showed the locals how badly the building had been vandalised and accessed since departure in 2017. Therefore, on our first visit, access was still comfortable but workers were onsite sealing the array of smashed entrances. The following week, returning with @DustySensorPhotography the perimeter had been boarded tight, and finding a way in was trickier. A lot of the highlights had been stripped out as they were making way for demolition, but luckily the theatre we had missed the first time round was still equipped, despite being trashed. All in all, it was a classic school explore which I'm quite fond of, so I enjoyed it nevertheless.
I didn't take as many pictures as I remember but here's what I managed.
