In parts of Estonia, its just not possible to 'slam the anchors on" when you spot something.

  • Most of the roads I travelled on were off the main highways, and as such are not tarmacadam, they are just hardcore, with loose chippings.
  • Thus, there is very little traction
  • These roads are not very wide
  • They have in places deep ditches to the side

So hello!!!!!

carefully depress brake pedal
grip steering wheel tight
try to control ones breathing
listen to the thunder in your chest
feel that rush
come to a gentle stop
and relax

Oh lordy there is a window open, amongst the half arsed boards covering the others.

Unless this is one scruffy family im guessing its pretty much empty, though in fairness it didnt have that unique DERPy scent.

I dont care, I'm here, I'm loving it, got to say that Aga, wouldn't meet EU safety standards!!

Russian script on the calendars, alas no date, and as I travelled through this wonderful country I found a lot of folk still cling to the days of the CCCP

Open some cupboards, i knew I would find stuff like this, it was common throughout places I visited last year in the former GDR.....

A google translation roughly indicates a former Soviet, health insurance form, in relation to a historical "ambulatory" disease. and further down a date 19?8.

Irons do nothing for me, but that blow torch, wow, back in the good old days of kerosene and hot flame.

A magical place to visit, deserted yes, abandoned yes, bereft of power and essentials, maybe a squatter has found shelter?

Who were these people?

As I discovered here and in other time capsules, and i pose the question, why do Eastern Europeans take photographs of funerals, be they open or closed caskets?
