The history of this railway workshop goes back to the midth of the 19th century. In the 1930s most of the buildings were renewed due to functional demands. Not neccessary to mention its relevance in Germany's dark history of WW2.
Large parts of the buildings were destroyed by a mass fire in 2005. Since 2011 it is abandoned.
