No vandalism and lots of decay. the Deaf School is a Grade II-listed Gothic style building that was opened in 1887 following a campaign by the Liverpool Adult Deaf and Dumb Benevolent Society. The building, run by what is now the Merseyside Deaf Society, eventually closed its doors in the 1980s after the school relocated to West Derby.
