A planning application has now been submitted to convert to dwelling use and seems to be being pushed through at a rapid speed as has sat empty for so long.

So guess the clocks now ticking on this one so catch it while you can

I tried a month ago and the door at the bottom is sealed now so you cannot get int

outstanding report and i loved the 1908-1944 electrical safety sign. Great pictures and you got in the local press. Good stuff. :)

Yes was quite shocked to see that much water i must say. Was very reluctant to step down at first, but i knew it was safe because all the lights were still on in that engine room. I went back about 4 days later and most the water had gone. That amount of water was not obviously natural, maybe a water pipe burst somewhere near underground. The bunker is well known for leaks from the rain, but nothing compared to that!
