Terres Rouge was just a part of a massive, sprawling series of industrial facilities which once dominated a small city in Luxembourg, this portion appears to have been some sort of mega cement works, as there is cement dust absolutely EVERYWHERE and everything that you wear and own will get covered in it when visiting.
Our initial plan was to do this after checking into our hotel for the night nearby but as we walked to the access onto the site we noticed a woman leaning out the window of her house directly opposite giving us an ultra death stare and not taking her eyes off us, so instead we chose to do it the following morning and it went off without a hitch...well apart from me nearly falling into the water which has flooded the central channel of the main site, and whilst separated from my group and all alone spotting a slightly dodgy looking guy with no shirt on (luckily didn't come to anything). There is a lot more to see here but we were pushed for time with a busy schedule that day so didn't stay too long.
Thanks for looking, more here https://www.flickr.com/photos/mookie427/sets/72157645940888186/
