At last I get to go to visit a train graveyard! I went to Oakamoor for a look round but even the rails have been taken away from there and scrapped.

(non-HD people should press the back button and look at some drains :p )

Anyway, just before it was dark I managed to get pictures from another location I'd seen on Google Maps. I couldn't get up onto all of the carriages because of a bad elbow at the moment :( I'm surprised it hasn't been sold off for scrap. It was nice to go inside a proper old fashioned passenger carriage which hadn't been vandalized in any way.

First some general shots from walking around......

That's a fantastic find, people travel to Belgium to see a train carriage in as good nick as that. Good work (y)

I have seen a few train graveyards but this is lovely, I love your detailed shots.

I know that you have said you like the HDR look but may I offer a little opinion?

Your pictures are really good, without the HDR they would be even better. Your attention to detail is really nice. I love that Old British Railways Sign and inside the carriages.

Regardless of the style of processing, I like it (y)

Looks like an awesome little place and whatever floats your boat regarding processing. It's chalk and cheese, not to everyones taste but hey-ho. :)

Not everyday you see a place like this in this country like damo said (y)
