This is a thread to share any impressive artwork you've come across inside abandoned buildings. Graffiti, street art or whatever you want to call it isn't always to everyone's taste and it can be an annoyance when done in the wrong place. At other times though it can really bring a place to life and actually be more interesting than it's trashed surroundings if it's done well. Let's see some of the stuff you've found on your explores!

I'll start off proceedings with a series of paintings by Phlegm, one of the UK's most prolific street artists. These were all found in his home town of Sheffield.

I do like a bit of phlegm. Nicely done fella.

Where as I cant abide graffiti (useless tags and mindless spray painting) I do like street art, done the right way in the right places.

A few from Doel, near Antwerp.

When it's done right, in the right spot, it can be really good. Tagging will always be feckin awful however.

Some from 2014

No graffiti thread is complete without photos from the KTA 'Graffiti School' which stood in Ronse, Belgium until being demolished at the end of 2014...I've never seen such a high concentration of awesome graffiti in one location before.

A few from the abandoned Heygate Estate in London before it was demolished, all phone pics before I owned a camera. I need to go through my photos from here, for 2 or 3 years the entire estate was covered in graff, it was an amazing place to visit. It's what got me into exploring actually

:D

The old Elephant & Castle falling to it's knees as it drags the new Elephant in to take it's place

An abandoned printing factory in North London that became a secret painting spot for some of Londons well known street artists before it was set on fire about a year ago....
