    Hello everybody. Today I want to share an especially untouched location with you guys. This resort has been closed since the early 2000's and has since then been sitting around in Austria. Due to its remote location, there was no vandalism beside two broken down windows. Originally, this was used as a rehabilitation center for the elderly, as far as I know. Also located on site are a medical facility for routine check-ups and dietary advice. I'd say this was the best location I ever visited in terms of how well it was preserved.     Since many years we knew this manicomio of the italian south but we never tried to go there. It's not the best place to be cause of the crime in this region. Italians warned us that we had to take care of our gear if we explore this region. Sometimes it's not good to hear to many stories cause you begin to think too much of it while exploring. This areal is really huge but we coulnd't explore everything cause we heard and saw guys who stole things there with using heavy tools. We didn't want to meet them, so we had to skip some parts. Few years ago there must be some untouched parts but now nearly every part is vandalized, empty or full of mess and most things you can sell are taken. I've never seen so many corridors with Cells before, this must be a really bad place for the mental deseased patients once.     History: This cokes facory was founded in 1924 by the belgium steel company cockerill, this factory made cokes for the nearby steel mill, also known as HFB. In 1994 there was an accident in this factory, this accident killed 7 workers. In 2010 the nearby blast furnace was mothballed which caused the cokes factory to be closed down. However in 2014 the steel mill was supposed to be reopened again, after these plans were announced the cokes factory was expanded, however after only 6 months the complete production for steel in that area was closed down permanently, which meant that it was abandoned after 80 years of producing cokes for the steel industry in Liege.     This is my first post on here, and these were taken with a cell camera, but I found this site interesting. This is a former control site for a Nike Missile Base that was part of a defense ring around a major city during the Cold War. The location where the missiles were stored/lauched in a few miles away and in use. Eventually this was used as a State National Guard Unit until abandoned around 1996. The night photos are of 2nd base in this region which is partially used

    Nice Andy, I really liked this place. Relatively untouched by the decay in some places was pretty mature. That bee looks like its abseiling haha!
