  1. 1000 mile Mega Xplore part 6. The last place on our list for our epic tour, but it wasn't the end for me From here I dropped the other to back off in Kent and was looking for my 3 hour trip home. How wrong was I?????? the traffic was on stop on the A20 & M25 and my satnav sent me into London, not got a clue where I was until I was stopped outside The Oval, but once over Vauxhall bridge I knew where I was and turned off the satnav. Tried stopping along the North embankment for photos but had no chance due to the heavy traffic and no where to park. 6 hours after dropping them off I was walking into my house and straight into the shower and then bed. Brilliant weekend and already got another planed for the beginning of next year. That's not to say I haven't got anymore planned before then but got to sort out dates. https://www.flickr.com/photos/cunningplan/albums/72157659274332585 the only photo of all 3 of us That's the way out, so until next time "Take care out there"
  2. I entered that into a club comp and got a 19 one of the other members said it would look good on his wall, so I gave it to him.
  3. 1000 mile Mega Xplore The other two were by now used to my swearing at my satnav, but when we ended up at what looked a block end I nearly chucked it out the window, There was a big river one side and a pub the other  so it was not until I got out and saw a small (As in 2 car) chain ferry the other side of the river. Turns out MB hates water and I thought he was going to grab a life jacket as I drove on . For a change MB went in first and promptly put his foot through the floor (This he did again the other side of the room.) https://www.flickr.com/photos/cunningplan/albums/72157659274332585 photo bomb
  4. 1000 mile Mega Xplore Cannon Brewery while in Sheffield, but decided against it due to access and time. It was lucky as we got stuck in traffic on the way down and only just got here in time for sunset. Again another place with needs no introduction and another type of place I like with all the graffiti and the two tanks make it for me. From here we headed somewhere quite and get our heads down for the night (But not until after going to the local chip shop ) https://www.flickr.com/photos/cunningplan/albums/72157659274332585
  5. 1000 mile Mega Xplore day 2 part 4 (These are not in order) After kipping in the car in the corner of a field we made our way here, bit of a walk but, this must be one of the oddest places I have been too. If I knew what it was like inside I would have slept on the floor in there and waited for daybreak. https://www.flickr.com/photos/cunningplan/albums/72157659274332585 the outside the inside
  6. I haven't posted on here for ages, while I have been out and about I haven't done that much this year at all being busy with personal and family matters. Instead of doing the odd one here and there I tend to do the longer trips, I've got a couple of trips lined up in the next couple of months. This was our second port of call on what was a 2 night sleeping in car, 1000+ mile tour for me. I love industrial places and this place is stunning and I could have spent hours here, this place alone made my trip worth while. As its been on here loads of times, I don't think it needs a introduction so straight down to the photos. (And there's loads) https://www.flickr.com/photos/cunningplan/albums/72157659274332585 Hope I didn't bore you with this lot
  7. As long as your not me And thanks for the comments
  8. Thanks to Lenston taking me down today, it was not what I expected but much more better and really glad I took a look. Its a big place but with not much different to photograph, so I will tag a few on mine on here. https://www.flickr.com/photos/cunningplan/sets/72157651155458646/ Cheers Len
  9. F**KING HELL that's one nice place, and your photos!! again
  10. guide price 30/35 grand, 25th Feb got the link to the auction if you want it
  11. This was the third location on our list with the second I didn't feel worth a report. Second time here but wanted to show the other two. I found a little more history on this place as its now up for auction and will be sold on the 25th Feb with the guide price of 30/35 grand. (With no vehicle access) as well as the house there looks to be what was abuilding and now just 4 walls next door. This was the old school itself and I wonder it the bell at the front door was the bell for start and finish the school day, or as the last fella who lived there liked sailing, it could have come from a old ship. I will leave it to you to make up your mind. With the place being sold the access was harder and the upstairs rooms were tapped off, we didn't go into the rooms as I had already said to the both of them you could look up downstairs and see through the celling. As this was my second visit, I didn't take that many. https://www.flickr.com/photos/cunningplan/sets/72157650437638838/ That's all from me
