  1. Hey all, not posted for a while as my Flickr has been messing up! Here's one of the locations from our first day in Italy, with plenty more to come This trip will always be one of my favourites, I've never seen anything in the UK like I have in Italy. This place is falling to bits and there's not much to shoot besides the staircase, but it's a proper beauty! (Must add that a lot of the pics here are very similar, the best thing in here was the staircase) Visited with PROJ3CT M4YH3M, Behind Closed Doors and Kriegaffe9. Pics: Only a few shots here, but a lovely place. Cheers for looking
  2. It was a bit of a race against time getting to this location. Towards the end of the day, a successful day - this being the 4th location. We wanted to make sure that we had enough time to do the place properly, not rushed. Sometimes when the light fades, one has no choice but to rush though. as it happened, we got there around mid afternoon, so rushing was not going to be necessary. That was just as well, as I had no idea what to expect at this location, however the size of the place was a massive surprise. What was even more of a surprise was the different feel of the various rooms. It was pretty dark inside for the most part, but the decay and nature reclaiming was brilliant - if that is the right way to describe it... In one of the main rooms was a fireplace - which had a very interesting feature - a cupboard above the fire, but below the mantelpiece. Odd, as whatever was stored there would surely get pretty warm Although it was still pretty sunny outside, the shutters made it a bit of a nightmare to get any decent shots - although in some ways it also added to the atmosphere of the place In the basement was the remnants of brewing - quite whether this was just for the consumption of the house - probably - I don't know. Would be nice to have that sort of cellar though. Wine on tap - quite literally. Yep, I could do with that for sure The kitchen was a mess, they could have tidied up really On the way back to the car, I noticed this wheel. Not sure what the purpose was though, outside the house and yet with some sort of connection to the floor below. Whether it was a case of turning the wheel from the ground level or below is anyone's guess. There was not much movement in it now though... Thanks for looking in

  4. The factory owners villa was a nice chance find on the road. Already quite affected, but still with some beautiful elements.   5. Evening all, Last place we visited in November's tour of Italy was this place. Not sure on the history but it was a dark, rainy morning and had to be accessed early doors due to the built up neighbourhood. Nothing else really to add but the photos.   6. Evening all, Long time since I posted anything and as you may already know I don't process that quick so got about 40 active locations of photos to still process bits from. This place was visited on our last day during our first of two trips to Italy last year. Not sure why it was abandoned but it was fancy, abandoned, reasonably clean and empty.   8. Evening all, Not getting through stuff very quickly as per usual. Means I have a lot to process which keeps me occupied for months but creates a bit of a backlog. This place in the Italian countryside was visited during our first of two trips to Italy in the latter part of 2014. No history but was a park outside and go and find the way in type of place, over the pond is mostly relaxed as a lot of you already know but Italy is even more so. This place had some nice detail, however minimal but was one of many residences with large barrels and miscellaneous brewing items in the lower levels. Anyway on with some photos.   11. Another Belgian location that's taken me a few attempts to crack that I finally crossed off the list.... On my first ever trip to Belgium me and my mate were travelling cross country and my mate decided he needed another memory card for his camera, so we pulled into a large electronics shop to buy one. A year later on my second trip out Villa Heil was on the to do list, and as we got closer and closer I suddenly realised that right across the street from it was the very same electronics shop we had pulled into a year before, when the fact there was a large derelict house directly opposite was unknown to us! On that occasion we found it sealed so carried on, shaking our heads at the incredible coincidence. I next tried it in December last year, we were inside for no more than a minute before being kicked out by people in the lawyers office next door, my most gutting bust ever. But last weekend we rocked up on a Sunday morning and got it done! Villa Heil is one of the best large derelict houses in Belgium, and although a lot of stuff has grown legs and walked out of there over the last year or so it's still well worth a visit.   12. Another report from the last Belgium infiltration and this place was a stop on the second day but unfortunately we were spotted and were sent out. We came back on the way to the ferry on the Sunday and did it instead. A couple of hours mooch around here, some nice spots inside. Think that the place next door which was a dentist was also the owners parents house but unsure on the history Externals Internals Thanks for looking in. Tim

  14. After 15 minutes of waiting before we could dissapear in the bushes we started at this villa It's a huge one and were inside for 2 and a half hours,lot of details and decay combined,what more do we need #1 #2 #3 #4 #5 #6 #7
  15. On to location No2 of me n Oldskools recent Euro skirmish... Felt a bit odd this one! A strong feeling of 'shouldn't be in here' followed us round, so we got it done as quickly as possible and did one!! Shame really, could have spent a LOT longer here... ...VILLA RO... Until next time...
  16. I keep saying i'm not going to go back, but there's always something to drag you back so yet again we popped over to Belgium driving there and back in a day, like you do. Went with Sammychocowammy, Oldskool and a non member. Villa Heil, stopped here on the way back to the train, wasn't expecting too much and most of these houses tend to become very similar after you've been to a few but it was pretty decent. Seems to have been owned by a lawyer or similar judging by the wall to wall case files in the basement dating back to the 1920's. .. .. .. Cheers for looking.
  17. Such a beautiful villa. Amazing condition! located along a busy road and with an English car sticking out like a sore thumb we found our access. Really hot up in the loft bit but loads of stuff left behind by the owners. I would love to live in this house. Has a creepy looking soft cushion area up in the loft with lots of cuddly toys. It really does feel like the owners have just gone on holiday for a few weeks...... This was very different to your normal explore because of the condition. It sort of feels wrong. Thank You
