  1. Did you ever went to an Island full of creepy dolls??? NO??? Let me take you with you! On my holiday in December 2017 to Mexico I heard about this place so I had to go. There is no holiday without finding some decayed stuff! The story goes as followed: The guy who lives on this Island found a girl who was drowned around the island. He also found a doll floating nearby and, assuming it belonged to the deceased girl so he hung it on a tree as a sign of respect. After he did that he heard whispers and foodsteps around his hut where he lived. He started to collect and hang more and more old dolls to calm down the spirit of the drowned girl. In 2001 the owner of the Island died and was found on the same spot where the girl was found. When I wanted to go to this place I had to find someone who wanted to bring me there because it was hard to reach according to people around there because of latest hurricanes and earthquakes . After a lot of negotiations I found someone with a little boat to go there and to be honest it was worth the whole trip!! I hope you liked it! Let me know what you think! 2. Sywell is a private Aerodrome that still is in use. It opened in 1928 and during the Second World War as RAF Sywell it was used as a training facility (Tiger Moths) and later an important centre for the repair of Wellington bombers and extensive sheds from this time still remain on the site. So these look like RAF structures to me - but what do I know? Last used as some kind of joinery business - newspapers on floor date to 1999. Visited Feb 2015. pics As you can see they are well hidden even though a road runs right past. Gotta have one of these There are 2 of these, both heavily secured with large padlocks. This is the Hotel & bar now running on the site Full set https://www.flickr.com/photos/infraredd/sets/72157650262018557/ Thanks for looking!
  3. This was our 3rd port of call for the day, the second was the woollen mill which was my 4th time and have already done a report on here in the past. I took a few new photos and just added them to my flickr album here. https://www.flickr.com/photos/cunningplan/sets/72157642863616254/ Luckily I was told how to get here or I would never have found it down all the narrow lanes. I have no history on this place and while there is still a few odds and ends about there's not that much. as normal all the photos can be found here https://www.flickr.com/photos/cunningplan/sets/72157646574574992/ That's all from here, From here we went to the House of Dolls (More photos added here https://www.flickr.com/photos/cunningplan/sets/72157645900330756/ ) and then went to Easter Cottage where we were unable to get in
