This is often something that interests the management of a forum, or any website really that is of modest size.

There have been a lot of new users recently, and it would be great to know how they found us.

What brought you to this site in perticular?

A good friend, @MiaroDigital, told me about the forum. In the same month of my registration, in October 2014, I already flew to London and got to know the first members of the forum. Since then I met a lot of great people via OS; meanwhile, we had many mutual visits and a lot of great joint explorations in recent years. :)

I don't remember how I found this place because I was drunk as fuck, haha. Got up in the morning and checked my email, saw a message from this site and was like damn, this place is neat. :P EDIT: My bad I didn't realize how old this post was.

Arrgh you're making me do thinking now lol... Pretty sure i was already a member on here by that point, i'll have to look back but i think i was, think i have reports on here from before we did the seminary, those alarms though man 😧 I'll have a look back through my profile now... Yeah man pretty sure i was on here a little bit before i was chatting with you, not that it really matters like. Tbh i think a lot of people tend to join here after getting abuse/'banter' from another forum...

I been retired pretty much from the explore scene now for about 18 months and had the opportunity to spend the day with my Daughter in Hampshire so took the kids for a traipse in the woods..was told there was an old cottage that was boarded up near one the many trails..we found it and saw it was wide open so had a look around..nothing much left except a few fire places but the kids loved it so mission accomplished.
After a bit of a walk,we spotted said house

      Closer now

      Kitchen cum Dining room range

Just a few holes, nothing to worry about..

      Living room

      Bedroom

Front door with entrance down to the basement.

      Basement

And finally, the fire place in the basement.

So that was the foresters house..I was told it was haunted but I have yet to substantiate this claim.

AMAZING explore. It looks like the owners had started packing up then decided to leave it - her whole life is just left, medication, money, credit cards, glasses, clothes, hundreds of books, electricity still on after 8years !!! Beautiful house with so much history - little gem

Another short report from me, this was my second Urbex excursion so I'm keeping them short to kinda test the waters a bit before I go all out and find bigger places (or at least more interesting ones) with better equipment. I couldn't find anything about the place online but from what I gathered someone was evicted and then burglars came and stripped the place. That's just what I got from the graffiti drawn on by someone who has never attended an English class, although there are a lot of those types around here XD. Anyway, enjoy the pictures!

A lot of effort has been made to improve this site over the last 6 months, however this is a question I don't believe has been asked.

What would you like to see on OS?

There are a few things in the pipeline currently, but it would be good for us to get a picture of what our members want to see.
