not much history to find on this house , somewhere in the midlands
couldnt get a decent external shot due to the ammount of growth round it,
the house was one of those prefab jobs made from fibre board containing white asbestos
i liked the wallpaper in some rooms it was very 1970s
old nova in the garage and caravan thats seen better times in the jungle of a garden
bit pic heavy as there was a few bits to see
thanks for looking
I stumbled on this house a few years ago right after I got my first DSLR. When I was walking around outside a passerby asked me if I saw a little girl in the window as everybody says they see a ghost there. Whatever. Went in and took a bunch of pics (quality isn't that great as I didn't know what I was doing, hadn't discovered the RAW format yet, and had my settings a bit off) and forgot all about it...until a year or so later I saw an article that it had burnt down about a month after I was there and read the story. Obviously saw the name on the wall, but having grown up a few hours away I hadn't heard the local legend of the crimes and the location.
Depending on where you read Nathanial White either lived here, buried 2 of the victims in the house, or both. Some say he lived here and the bodies were discovered in a field a bit behind the house, others say this place was already abandoned and he hid 2 bodies there. Not sure exactly which is true, but you could see the house from a major highway so I stopped to take a few quick pics but was a bit spooked by the passerby. Not because of the ghost rumor, but rather being reported to be snooping around.
As usual with our explores, they are never really a walk in the park. Access to the building itself was a challenge as the top area in which we needed to go was locked off completely. Thankfully, being quite adapted to the tasks at hand, we managed to ride on top of a lift to gain access to the building.
Once inside it was clear that the building was in quite a bad state. Natural erosion has started eating away at the 60 year old building, and rust can be found throughout.
Pigeons were lurking in the crevices and the whole place smelt of damp.
The building was a former office block but has been abandoned for 20 or more years.
Here is some of the best photos we managed to get. Thanks for looking!

Falcon house. It's been in Swindon since the early days of this towns birth and has been sat empty and abandoned for 16 years.
It was said to be the very first headquarters for the well known company zurich, an insurance company, but was promptly moved to a more practical and efficient property.
The old office block is situated in Swindon town centre on top of a car park right near the entrance to town, which is an eye sore to some but a worthy explore for us.
There was nothing much left, only old phones and some really old school computer stuff.
It was the view at the end of the video that made it all worth it, being the second highest point in the town aside from the john murray building. What a view!
So please enjoy this video by my good friend and make sure to check out the channel! Have fun out there,
