Dead Things - Not For The Squeamish -2015 (NSFW)

Recommended Posts

We all have our 'things' (chair shots, toilets, ghost ads etc), well this is one of mine. Was interested in photographing dead things way before i was into exploring & as you will all know there's an abundance of dead things to be found when exploring. Mostly just dead pigeons here in the UK but hoping some folks will be able to add some more exotic things since there's people on here that explore oustside the UK. Am really interested in the different stages of decay that can be found, both St Joeys in Preston & Upholland were great for this, some would be really fresh & some were complete skeletons.

St Joeys, Preston

This one looks like something you would get from some of the dodgy chicken joints in Preston

Have more to add but the hard drive with the rest of my pics on it isn't with me right now, hopefully others will add to the thread as well...

Urblex spoke to me about if this was a suitable thread to run with and as its nothing more than what we come across at times could see no reason for it :P

And one from St Josephs seminary, think it's a sparrowhawk & think it explains the amount of dead pigeons in there (apparently they kill & eat them)

A explore of an old slate mine. The mining started a few hundred years ago but is abandoned for several decades. This mine is not the safest and some parts are already collapsed. All the train rails are gone but you can see where they were. Only some bats live in these parts now. The white dots on the walls are all dead spiders with a layer of calcium. Not sure why there were so much dead spiders there.
The person with whom I  exploring with had done the research of this mine. You had to walk some distance through the woods to get to the entrance. .
There was yet another level but we couldn't make a safe connection point for a rope so we skipped that. It was a steep incline 10 meters down.

Beneath a large town in Belgium there is an underground graveyard. Back in the 1800's they realised there wasnt place left to bury the dead, so they went underground.
Its been closed for many years now, because of the possibility of collapsing. They are started to renovate it by now, but there wont be any people left who actually knows any of the burried people.
Excuse me for my bad grammar

Visited this place that I found online while researching other bits and pieces for a day out in Norfolk. So thought it would be a shame not to visit... Did not have high hopes for it, but it was not to bad... 5 of us rolled into the house and being it was only a two bedroom cottage there was not a lot of room.
Over all it is in not bad condition, and has a few interesting bits and bobs left behind including a Dead bird in one of the bedrooms..
I searched online and could not find any history for the place, apart from what is listed on the estate agents websites.. All in this pukka little cottage as it stands will only set you back £250k.
