Most people know about this place and have seen it pop up almost everywhere this year, I may be hated for this but it just did not do nothing for me this place, I only liked the ceilings mainly, the best part for me was basically being a ninja an walking around trying not to make noise at silly o clock in the morning, I guess once you have seen the pictures of this place online, you've basically been, im sure my photos wont show anything different than anyone else's either but someone might enjoy them :)

I have to also say watching secca sleep and the dogs staring up at me as I stood looking at them from the windows was rather fun, I was expecting them to bark and wake secca up, but alas nothing not even a whimper... shocking.

Not a bad set of pics mate, shame that it does nothing for you. I love the place. Secca had changed a fair bit between yours and my visit by the sounds of it haha. Thanks for sharing :thumb

Each to their own, fair play if you don't get much from it. I enjoyed the pics even though with a mixture of envy as all I managed to see was the gym due to being spotted by the new beefed-up secca :(

Ive seen some images showing demo and clearance has started around the main House.

Many of the outlying building including the swimming pool and science block now gone.

Well captured and a cool share :thumb

Snowdown was the deepest colliery in Kent reaching well over 3,000 ft (915 metres). It was also the hottest and most humid pit in Kent and was given the name 'Dante's Inferno' by the miners. Regarded by many as the worst pit to work at in Britain, most Snowdown miners worked naked because clothes became too uncomfortable. The miners could consume around 24 pints (14 lires) of water in an 8-hour shift. There were frequent cases of heat stroke.

      Snowdown closed in 1987

Established in 1926, G.L. Murphy was a family run business and supplied bespoke machinery to the tanning industry, as well as building rag cutting and cable stripping machinery.  The company also provide refurbishment and renovation works for various machinery types.

What's left of the south marston hotel, remains an empty, scorched shell. Not much to see on this one, and I am way to late but hey, it still provides an eerie vibe. And the photos came out pretty good too. Thanks,
      C
