Clayton Hospital is located in Northgate, Wakefield. The hospital is named after Thomas Clayton ex mayor of Wakefield. The hospital opened in 1876 and extended in 1879 and closed in 2012.

Explore;

​

Explored with 2 non-members on a dinner break to pass time. After dodging contractors and gaining entry I realised how trashed this place was. However, we decided to carry on walking back through the corridors dodging the stacks of needles and human shit, we approached what seemed to be a Jeremy Kyle regular asking if we had any drugs and 20p to get home; which made the explore that bit more amusing. After an hour of jumping and dodging footsteps and noises we decided to call it a day and accept the place is done for and to never return again.
