Dolgarrog Water Treatment
So we are out checking lidar hits for potential undiscovered mines & we wander past this place so was a complete chance find.
At first we wasnt sure if it was still used & deff didnt think we would get in but with a LOT of effort (waring caving suits & canyoning boots didnt make this any easier) we were inside.
Cant find a damn thing about this place but guess there is not much to tell, it was obviously used to capture & process water from the spectacular Afon Ddu nut became surplus to requirements sometime in the mid 90s.
due to the age no glorious pump engines Im afraid but a fair bit to see regardless.
Pics were all phone ones but Ill let them do the talking now.
