RAF Sculthorpe Dec '15

Just down the road from West Raynham is another former RAF airfield-turned-industrial-park however this is one that sits in stark contrast to the decayed beauty of West Raynham. RAF Sculthorpe is like a polar opposite - trashed, graffiti covered and very very bleak especially when it rains, like we found out. However it is still an enjoyable and relaxing place to explore, it reminded me a lot of the grottier parts of RAF Upper Heyford. Nobody seems to ever explore this place, and with West Raynham just down the road I can't exactly blame them but it was nice to squeeze in site #5 at the weekend before the long drive home.​

Didn't even know there was one. In the murk and rain we were hard pressed to see anything in the distance haha.
