This is my second visit to this site, to some it will maybe be a little boring due to being a building site, but for me its a heavenly place. I just love seeing these big projects take form, and usually there's a great up high fix for added sexiness. sorry about the quality of some shots, the lighting was difficult to play with, and it was unbelievably windy up top.
There are 6 cranes at this site, some baby ones, some mid sized ones, and the highest being stood in the middle. The high one was the only way, failure was not an option.

Construction work on a casino, hotel, cinema and shopping complex at the NEC.
It's being built by a Malaysian gambling firm, Genting. It's being called Resorts World, Birmingham. There'll be a four star hotel with 170 rooms, 45 shops, an eleven screen cinema and a casino.
1750 jobs have been created for the construction of the seven-storey, 538,000sq ft complex. Genting is a huge Malaysian company which is involved in producing palm oil, gas and power generation and operates cruise ships. It already operates four casinos in Birmingham and Coventry. The idea behind the scheme is to mainly attract people to the NEC but to convince those who come for concerts to stay longer and spend money at the hotel, in the shops and in the casino.
Experts say the regional economy will benefit from a £60 million boost during the building of the casino complex and up to £33 million per year after the opening.
Construction at the site, next to the LG Arena, will last two years with the centre due to open to the public in early 2015.
Resorts World Birmingham will comprise of:
170 room four star hotel with five star suites and spa
A designer outlet centre with 50 units selling a range of discounted fashion, shoes and electronics
A 11-screen cinema with state-of-the-art digital technology
A multi-use banqueting and conference centre
A casino offering a contemporary and exciting gaming experience
A wide range of internationally-themed restaurants and bars.
