The first hospital was built here as early as 1080 and is constantly being expanded.
In 1928 the area in which the lecture halls seen here are located was built.
As space in the center of the city was limited, a new campus was built just outside the city. This happened in 4 phases. Thus, the oldest area was completely demolished by 2021. In the meantime, the area in which the lecture halls are located is being demolished and the first residential buildings have already been built on the site.
In these rooms, several generations of doctors have acquired their basic medical knowledge in more than 90 years.
Thousands of students sat on the hard and uncomfortable chairs and listened to the lectures.
The university was founded almost 600 years ago. However, she was 20 years, by decree of the National Convention.
One of the highlights here is undoubtedly the huge overhead projector from the Leitz company in Wetzlar.
