I visited this site back in 2010 with a whole group of friends on boxing day, I dont know much history on the place to be honest, other than it used to be some sort of eye clinic. When we visited there were signs of drug addicts using the building, neddles everywhere so we had to watch our steps.

There wasnt alot to see inside, but there was a lovely green staicase, for me that was the main bit, most of the wards had been stripped. The natural light coming through made for some nice shots too.

Reading most of your reports is just one big nostalgia trip for me. I remember these places cropping up on the forums back in the day. Never did get to this one, looked like quite an interesting building thou.

Yeah all about that staircase really and a cool crew shot, we have a themed thread for those too, wonder if a few folk that have been around for a while might recognise some of your fellow explorers?  :D

Cheers man, I think most of my old crew are still in the hobby, i used to go with Andre Govia, RomanyWG, Critical Mass, Sj9966 and a few others. Ive spoken to Sj on here recently.

Thanks for posting up ....again  :)

One place i never bothered with recently as it was so trashed, but it seems it was already on it"s way back in 2010!

Although i didn"t even know HDR existed back then. Learn something new everyday  :D
