The jewelry factory was particularly specializing in fashion jewelry. However, with the competition from low-wage countries, it became increasingly difficult for the German costume jewelery factories, which is why this manufactory was finally closed.

Many furniture and machines have been removed from the building during the last two years. But unfortunately, also several items and jewelery have been stolen in recent years. Nevertheless, you still find some pieces there for taking pictures of it.

This place looks great, Andy. I'm surprised at how much jewellery is left.

Originally there was much, much more. As I have seen on some older photos of others, some rooms were almost full of boxes of costume jewelery after closure. But unfortunately a lot has been stolen in the past years, other things (like furniture and some machines) has been removed. So I was glad that there was still something left, and not everything was gone.
