Canal Cottage Feb 2014

I can only go Xploring on Saturdays as Mrs Plan works and I have all day free to do what I like, this Saturday I had a meeting to go to in Northampton, I knew it would be finished by 2 I didn't want to waste the whole day. I spent a few hours on google and google maps and found this little place. Other than it was a farm house and next to the Grand Union Canal nr Milton Keynes that's it. Its been empty for over ten years but going there yesterday it looks like they are starting to do the place up, I don't blame them as its a great little place next to the canal and with great views. It doesn't have running water or a toilet but these days I don't think that would be a problem.

MGB GT (Lots of bits in boxes) and a series 3 land rover (most parts except chassis and running gear)

I just love old cars some times sad to see in such a state but at the same time in its day treasured but now lost.

Not 100% but I am sure there has been work at the place lately, the front of the house has been cleared, there is a fresh pile of logs around in front of the barn and most of all, there are boxes of spare parts for the MGB, they might be working on it. I hope they are

I don't go for the houses/farm type stuff but that looks like a decent mooch to while away an hour or so. Nicely done

This place must be a fair way off the track for the MGB & SIII to still be there.
