Sanatorium du Basil - December 2015

Sanatorium du Basil is a huge sanatorium somewhere in Belgium. The building was left abandoned in 2013, which is also evident in the current state. Besides some smashed windows there is little to none vandalism or graffiti. It even appears that the electricity is still working. Until 2013 the sanatorium also served as a shelter for asylum seekers . However on the inside there is not much to see. Lots of empty rooms and long corridors , but the building itself is quite impressive. The location and the view from the sanatorium was worth the long drive.

That's real nice mate, lots to see here. I like the building too. You have some really nice shots here and nice of them to leave the electric on for you

That's a pretty nice looking place, liking the brick detail on the chimney.
