Lots of grot and history, alas didn’t get to mooch round the outbuildings as shortly after I arrived the next door farmer I guess turned up with a team of contractors and started lopping and shredding the saplings. Now I know why there were so many orange stripes on the trees.
ithink they were quite shocked when I emerged from the house, doffed my cap and disappeared through the hedge never to be seen again.
