whent for an explore with solarpower this place is trajic and a real shame that it has been alowed to get into this state

no the demo hasnt started but the site is falling apart i went back about a month ago just before christmas. ive got a death wish ask solar p but i even i thought the place was unsafe and dangerous as fuck so i just left id think very carfully before going if anyones going to go maybe dont go up the stairs at least

such a shame to see that go, stunning plaster work there, really amazing. But I'm not suprised about demo starting, however great the plaster is / way the building is waaaay beyond repair, it would cost triple to do it up then what it would cost to knock it down and start again :x :cry:

It is a great shame to see a place like this in that condition. Just makes you wonder why the local councils let it happen

Walked passed this place the other day. The back end and the roof looked in very bad shape. It's a pity but I dont think this building will last too much longer

I still use a high level cistern like that and a belfast sink..wouldnt part with either...great report and thanks for sharing.

I have a belfast sink in my kitchen; unfortunately it's a rather poor modern version, not a hefty old one but it's still quite nice. :)

The old building where I used to work which is now derelict ;-) has loads of belfast sinks in, including a rather nice double one. They wouldn't let me take them thou :(
